Every hospital is working under a tight financial margin and is looking for every way to maximize OR revenue, decrease patient length of stay, and find staff to cover all available beds. Balancing the demand and desire for services against resources is more difficult every day. When patient flow is not managed effectively, the emergency department is one of the areas affected the most.
To address the topic of managing patient throughput, the North Carolina Chapter of the Emergency Nurse Association (ENA) has invited Mary Jagim, 2001 ENA National President and Chief Nursing Officer of Infinite Leap, to present on innovative strategies that are showing successful results in patient flow management.
The session will take place on March 1, 2019 in Cary, North Carolina. For more information regarding the conference, please visit https://ncena.nursingnetwork.com/nursing-events/109211-2019-nc-ena-nurse-leader-conference#!info
