There is no doubt that real-time technologies transform the way hospitals operate and how medical staff care for their patients and communicate with patients and their loved ones. There are more than 100 unique use cases that leverage real-time technologies. The most common ones include asset tracking and asset management (including Periodic Automatic Replenishment (PAR) level management), equipment utilization reporting, environmental monitoring (such as measuring temperatures of refrigeration units, blanket warmers, and for ambient temperature in sensitive locations), and patient flow optimization (which helps to identify bottlenecks in patient flow and improve patient experience by providing information on current wait time and phase of care).
To learn how real-time technologies enable process automation to improve clinical and business outcomes, the North Carolina Chapter of HIMSS has invited Scott Hondros, Associate Director Enterprise Visibility at Wake Forest Baptist Health (under contract with Infinite Leap) to speak on this topic.
The session will take place on April 24, 2019 in Raleigh, North Carolina. For more information regarding the conference, please visit https://conference.nchimss.org/home
